A simple wiring harness supplies battery voltage through a relay to an electric coil in the vegetable oil fuel tank. Under the hood is a clean solenoid valve bypass and purge loop which allows WVO and diesel to enter the injection pump through separate inlet hoses. A tank is mounted in the trunk with a solenoid valve that switches the fuel supplies. Electrical heating of waste vegetable oil (WVO) saves installation time and the mess of cutting into and installing coolant hoses underneath and outside of the vehicle. No cooling hoses plumbed into the vehicles system eliminates the potential for coolant leakage as the system ages and rubs from engine and road vibration. Our system also utilizes the factory fuel lines, operates its own heated fuel filter and allows diesel fuel operation to be restored at the flip of a switch. Because the WVO and Diesel return line are the same, purging of the system is easy and with two seperate filters each fuel is independant so clogging in the WVO won't leave you stranded.
Starting at $1195.00 US, our basic universal system comes with an aluminum tank, heating element, 4 solenoid valves, a heated fuel filter, sending units and gauges for oil temp. and level, all wiring switches, relay, brass fittings and fuel hose.
