Why Waste Vegetable Oil?
There are many different reasons to use WVO in your diesel vehicle. To us, the first and most important is recycling. Many restaurants and delis have to pay to dispose of old oil. This creates waste and storage issues until the oil is removed.
The second reason is to preserve our environment, not only by burning a cleaner fuel but also not over loading the need for reliance of fossil fuels. And the most basic reason of all is to save money from going to the gas station (Please check with your accountant for paying federal and state road taxes on WVO used as fuel).
I would also like to say that while we believe this system is a viable alternative to diesel fuel it must work in conjunction with diesel fuel to be fully efficient. We also offer the basic components and instructions to set up your filtering system. Our system includes: all piping, fittings, waste pump ( 12VDC or 120 VAC) filter housing (with 2 5- micron filter elements), funnel, and 2 filter bags.
